The Best Parks in Seattle, Bellevue and Lynwood

The suns out, 4th of July is right around the corner, but the world is still on pause. Luckily we have the outdoors to look to! Washington State has so many beautiful parks to explore and we are lucky to have the outlet of nature during these times. Check out this list of some of the best parks located near our piercing and tattoo studios in Seattle, Bellevue and Lynnwood!

Ravenna Park -  A ½ mile wooded ravine that connects two picnic areas just north of University District - just a short 6 minute drive from our Seattle shop! This quaint but beautiful park is popular for hiking, jogging, and picnics. This park also has a wading pool, tennis courts and nature trails.

Gasworks Park Seattle

Gasworks – One of the coolest parks in Seattle, this 19 acre park is located on the site of the former Seattle Gas Light Company gasification plant! It is located on the north shore of Lake Union and south end of the Wallingford neighborhood right across the freeway from our Seattle location!

Discovery Park – This is Seattle’s largest park ranging at 534 acres with 11.81 miles of walking trails. Located in the Magnolia neighborhood, Discovery park has a little something for everyone. You can visit a small lighthouse on a sandy beach that looks across the water to Bainbridge island or explore the many beautiful trails this park has to offer!

Enatai Beach Park – This lakefront park is your entryway to Lake Washington and the water trails of Mercer Slough. The 3 acre park has a swimming area, swimming dock, picnic area and even seasonal canoe and kayak rentals. This great park is only a short 7 minute drive from our Bellevue location!

Downtown Park – Our Bellevue location is located right next to this awesome 20 acre park located right in downtown Bellevue. It’s a circular ring with a large central Green space surrounded by a moat and walking trails! 

 

Viewpoint Park Bellevue

Viewpoint Park – If you want a little escape from the city Viewpoint Park is your spot! This rustic forest park provides trails for hiking and walking with a natural barrier between the neighborhoods and surrounding businesses. This park is only and 11 minute drive from our Bellevue location.

Interurban Trail in Lynwood

 

Interurban Trail – a 12 foot wide regional pedestrian trail. The trail begins in North Seattle and continues through Shoreline, Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace, Lynwood and Everett. The Lynwood portion stretched 3.8 miles long and is great for bike rides or to try out your new skates!

Lynndale Park – This is Lynnwoods largest park spanning approximately 22 acres of preserved native forest. The rest is developed with active recreational uses such as athletic fields and a skate park. This park is a short 12 minute drive toward the Puget Sound.

Scriber Lake Park - A quiet natural refuge sits in the center of Lynnwood with a lake that provides important habitat for fish, waterfowl, songbirds and small mammals. featuring a floating boardwalk, nature trail, parking, pathways, trails. A beautiful slice of nature only 7 minutes away from our Lynnwood location!
